Не очень то похож на другие Rába U26

According to the official data, this is a Rába U26.230 DFK. Unfortunately, there were no VIN numbers at the time of search.
The Daf cabine was used on Rába trucks from 1984, so this vehicle may be a rare transitional variant before the introduction of Rába K26 series. The other possibility can be the replacement of the cabine. This may also be indicated by the fact that the cabine has "long" side windows behind the doors, however, the factory ones had a shorter one.

I checked some photos in Internet and saw both variants of the "length" of windows - long and short on Raba trucks.

Is it possible that this truck uses registration documents of another truck? E.g. in ex-USSR countries this kind of substitution sometimes happens.

1. Yes, both type of cabines were in use. Dump trucks were made mostly with the short cabine (such as the K series), but there are some vehicles in my domestic "for sale" database, which are very similar to this one (dump truck having a long cabine).

The problem is that the Rába company produced many different versions in small quantities and sometimes more than one variants were classified under the same model number. Identification of a vehicle can be difficult without a VIN number. Until the VIN number comes up, I will rank this car to the common model.

2. Yes, it can be an option. There are a few companies, where this phenomenon is an everyday practise.
